We’re bouncing back quicker than most – Idaho ranks 2nd for increase in home prices
CoreLogic announced that Idaho is 2nd in the nation for increases in U.S. home prices. From July 2011 to July 2012, the nation’s home prices increased 3.8%, the largest year-over-year increase in the last six years. Idaho posted a whole 10% gain, finishing second only to Arizona, with Utah, South Dakota and Colorado all placing in the top five respectively. Our local MLS, Intermountain Multiple Listing Service, anticipates that we will maintain at or near this 10% mark through the remainder of the year. Yet another sign that we’re recovering! Idaho has a diverse economic base with strong agricultural and tech markets, and incredible recreational opportunities – it’s hard to resist the appeal of our Idaho lifestyle!
